International Tours

Chorus Abilene has a 10 year history of international touring, having traveled to England, Canada, France, Italy, the Carribean, and Austria.

Adult chorus members have traveled to Scotland, and Vienna, Krakow, & Prague. Their next planned tour will be in 2011 to Italy & Greece.

In June of 2010, youth choir members toured Spain. With Madrid as the base, the group visited Segovia, Salamanca, Toledo, and Avila. They sang in the International Music Festival in Avila, in a beautiful cathedral in Segovia, and sang for and visited with 2 schools in Madrid, as well as seeing ancient aqueducts, Moorish artifacts, and touring the Prado Museum.

Youth choirs are looking forward to a 2012 tour to Italy.

The Classical (Adult) Chorus is plannning a tour to Greece in June 2011. You do not need to be a singer to travel with the group.
